Cyanco has been providing competitively priced, quality chemicals and services to the precious metal mining industry for decades – primarily supplying gold mines throughout the United States and Canada. In 2018, under its new private equity owner, Cyanco was in a position to pursue a global growth strategy that required an enhanced brand, as well as a strong internal communications and employee engagement program. 

At the outset, key marketing/communications imperatives for this client included: Improving the consistency and visual presentation of the brand, focusing on brand differentiators (service and safety), enhancing sales enablement tools, creating and publishing more digital content, formalizing 1:1 outreach/customer relationship management (CRM), recognizing, rewarding and regularly communicating to employees, and supporting continuous improvement programs across the company.

Understanding what the business stood for and against aided the development of a vision & mission, and a visual brand identity that expresses the qual/quant nature of what they do, as well as who they are while capturing the group’s energy.

Founded in mid-1800s, J&L Dental had been through many iterations of its business model and its brand – which needed to be strengthened and renewed (especially after COVID’s abiding impact on the dental industry).

The company needed to present both its traditional value (expertise, customer care) alongside its new e-commerce abilities, cost competitiveness and security of supply under one brand umbrella.

Engaging with the company’s decision-makers, Sprout helped define J&L’s core brand characteristics, create key messaging, mission, vision and values and implement strong new visuals to represent the company’s personality.

Throughout discovery and exploration, 
we unveiled J&L’s foundational purpose, which is to support [and defend] independent dentistry.

Starting life over 50 years ago solely as a benefits provider, Bene-Care has continually invested in its own capabilities to meet customers’ evolving needs. Adding new services, solutions, and staff over the years – such as leading-edge software, payroll services, HR support and business insurance – Bene-Care has become a full-service provider of Human Capital Management today. Given its diversity of offerings, Bene-Care needed a better way to present all the elements of its business under one, holistic brand.

Literally threading the needle between the disparate Bene-Care offerings, ‘We Go There with You’ became a brand-line that underpinned and encapsulated all that Bene-Care does, while communicating the value of holistically managing the full ‘Employee Journey.’ 

Based on the perspective of Bene-Care’s core customer – the employer – Sprout’s approach helped leverage their full portfolio in support of every step of the employee experience, including recruitment and onboarding, moving through benefits enrollment, timekeeping, and training. 

This branded campaign informed new sales support materials and refreshed digital platforms, including a newly designed website and company collateral.
